Why do it

Become the person your business relies on for AI

Most people are picking up AI tools by guesswork. This course gives you structured, practical skills: how to spot what's worth automating, set up the tools and prove the time and money saved.

A person in a striped shirt sits at a desk covered by a massive stack of papers, holding a phone receiver to their ear while gesturing with one hand. A laptop is on the desk in front of them, with a bright green office wall and shelves of binders in the background.

A qualification that's going places

A Level 4 apprenticeship in AI and Automation: the same level as the first year of a degree, in the skill employers are crying out for.

No fees, no debt

The training is funded through the government's apprenticeship scheme. You never pay course fees and there's no student loan to repay.

Become indispensable

You learn on your own work, so the time you save and the processes you automate are visible to your boss from the start.

FAQs

Questions employees ask

Do I have to pay anything?

No. Apprentices never pay course fees and there's no student loan. Your employer may pay a small share if you're 25 or over, usually around £900, and that can often be covered by a levy transfer.

Can I do it in my current job?

Yes, as long as your role involves work you could improve with AI and automation, and the course teaches you new skills. You keep your job and your salary while you train.

What if my employer says no?

Many employers simply don't know the funding exists. Our free report shows your employer what's in it for the business and what it costs, which usually makes the conversation much easier. If they still say no, we'll talk you through your options.

How much time does it take?

Around 12 to 18 months, studied online. Your employer gives you protected time for learning during working hours, and much of the work is real projects in your own job.

Do I need qualifications or coding skills?

The national standard sets no academic entry requirements. Some training providers set their own, which we check for you. It suits organised, curious people more than coders.

What do I get at the end?

A nationally recognised Level 4 apprenticeship in AI and Automation, awarded after an independent end-point assessment. Level 4 is the same level as the first year of a degree.
